Summary
Apologizing for not writing earlier but saying he had to "...pay visits of form to Their French & Swedish Majesties, and to the French Princes;" expressing his appreciation for her "...kind sympathy in all the affliction I have undergone of late, and that which is still oppressing me I value more than I can express, and I really quite long for the opportunity to repeat this to you in person. You may be assured therefore that I will call in upon you either on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday morning, if I could know, when you are sure of being alone : so pray send me a line addressed to me at Kensington, which I may find there when I come in on Wednesday morning to apprize me of this."
