Summary
Saying he is glad she received the venison, laments the cause of her visit to Cheltenham and hopes that Minny is restored to health; adding "To yourself I should think, after all you have experienced to create bile, the waters would not be of disservice, only pray recollect that a certain degree of exercise is indispensable to prevent thus being injurious;" thanking her for the information on the Park Lane house, saying he will talk with the auctioneer "...but I fear the attainment of it will be beyond our present means : but however that may turn out, I feel equally grateful to you for your remembrance of me. As to myself I have never stirred from this quiet spot, except for the eight and forty hours, when I ran over to Brighton, and for my usual absences of the Wednesday to pay my duty at the Queen and on Friday's at Windsor, nor have I any thought of leaving it at all. I wish you could see it now...it is still in high beauty from the Verdure of the Lawn;" sending his love to her and to Minny.
