Summary
Acknowledging receipt of Rosenberg's card form France; announcing that there are several excellent acquistions of his pictures by Newark, Minneapolis, and Washington museums; writing that he just received a telegram from the Pepsi-Cola Company while he was writing this letter informing him that he was one of the prize winners of this year's competition, and he received a telegram yesterday from Mr. St Gaudens of Pittsburgh-Carnegie asking if he was the owner of "Wind Orchestra" which will be included in their forthcoming annual international exhibition; discussing Rosenberg's instructions to Florence [Walters] to arrange an exhibition of gouache and pastels and the difficulties they faced; mentioning how he framed 25 pictures with Florence's assistance; writing that "Workmen in the Subway," 24 x 18.5 inches (1924) sold for $900 or $1000, which is encouraging; hoping that Rosenberg returns from France soon; (in postscript) praising how beautiful the gallery looks under Florence's supervision.
