Relating her visit to see Lady Keith and then dinner with her sister; saying she is reading Mirabeau's Letters from England, commenting on Mirabeau and Lafayette and quoting from the book; saying "another thing struck me was an Epigram made on Mirabeau after a famous speech of his on the political profligacy of some of the government, & the last line is 'il prêche sur l'echelle en pendant ses confreres' - it might be made for Brougham & Sir E. Sugden. I beg your pardon for substituting Books for men but with the exception of a [illegible] full of beau monde who staid with me only five minutes I have not had much 'Life' for the last 36 hours;" relating details of her social invitations, news of friends and news of their daughters.
