Summary
Thanking him for his letter and saying that he is very moved by the idea of having 18 paintings that are going to take such a long trip. He offers his heartfelt thanks for what Alexandre is doing for his painting. He says not to worry about the opinions of art lovers. What he tries to do is to create a process of continuous renewal. It's not easy. He says that little by little the public will get used to the deviations/changes in his work. He says that Alexandre knows that even better than he does. Later on, they'll see who was right or wrong. He sends Alexandre, Rosenberg, and all their family his best New Year's wishes for 1955.
