Notes
It is possible that this letter is actually two unrelated fragments, one of four pages and one of two with an address panel. Neither of the fragments appears to be signed.
The letter is undated however the inventory of the collection suggests the year of writing may be 1821.

Discussing her concern for her brother Hugh's illness; referring to Lord Ponsonby and the Duke of York and a possible appointment for Dawson to the East or West Indies; continuing on an additional leaf in what does not appear to be a continuation of this letter; saying she is glad he is prolonging his time with his family and delaying his return to London; relating the theatre she has attended and social news of mutual friends.
