Summary
Congratulating her husband on his appointment as Privy Counselor; saying "I think it will also [illegible] to your good in every way and I hope to hear of Seymour being a Page, within a year or two - at least think of this hint & dont miss the opportunity if it offers - You will command the Court and the Queen will not be insensible to your powers of pleasing - and the only person to be pitied is Albert who will be in danger - but dont set your Cap, too much, at him - I mean to the extent of making the Queen uneasy. We have up to the present day had an agreable journey through the north of Italy and shall now proceed back across the Alps & be at Paris at the beginning of December when I must come to England about my Daughter's money matters - as she will be of age - I dont think I shall get Lady M. over the Channel - at least till late in the Spring;" relating social news.
