The letter is undated however it appears to have been written between June 17, 1837 when Munster arrived at Windsor Castle and June 19th when the King's condition worsened in the final day.

Summary
Reporting on his father's condition; saying "The crisis may yet be postponed a few hours as the King is somewhat stronger from a night of some rest - restless tho not bad - But no one has a ray of Hope in the Palace...I am just out of the Kings room - very weak - no pulse - but certainly stronger than last night - but I fear much since yesterday morning."
