Summary
Relating news of family and reporting on the condition of the King; saying "at 3 o'clock yesterday the accounts were good from Windsor - tho from the intentions as to Ascot, I fear he will make himself ill - again - Lord Egremont has a bad cold - & we do not dine there as consequence - Memory says you are to let them know in a few days whether you come down or send for them - We go on the 9th to Petworth for the Fête or the 10th and then return here on the 11th. I trust you are stronger & less worried than you were - and shall be glad to see that you gain in appearance - for you were a skeleton when last I left you."
