Summary
Commenting on her being away from London; saying "You miss little - as I never saw London a more complete Desert...I know nothing of the King except that He is dissatisfied at my not going to him - but I think all hope of our ever coming together again is at an end;" relating news of friends, wondering who is traveling with her and concluding "Cholera is going - and all the Bowel attacks slight - about 100 have died a week - The Duke of Sussex, who now look like Falstaff - in the face - as well as Body - having left off the dye of his wiskers - is to be couched in the Winter - He is very low - and indignant about Lord Grey being elbowed out of Office."
