This letter appears to be written in the winter. Mrs. Fitzherbert died on March 27, 1837.
The place of writing is not provided but it appears to be Brighton.

Summary
Thanking her for her concern about her health; saying "I am certainly much better but still am a bit of a cripple tho' I am now able to walk about my room but the cold winds & bad weather annoys me & I shall not think of moving till we get better weather & that I am able to enjoy your Society as it is I am good for nothing but I shall improve daily - I was not able to see Munster till yesterday - he is very kind & attentive to me - he is excellent in many things & I wish from the bottom of my heart he was happier both in respect to his family & his Home...I cannot tell you how much I miss yr dear children for tho' I c'd not have seen much of them I felt they were near me & that I might occasionally have seen their dear little happy faces - I long to embrace you all again - I am glad you find Tilney St. tolerably comfortable - Viney is there now & if she can do any thing for you pray employ her - she will be highly gratified by yr. doing so - Kiss the dear chicks for me & tell Minny I am very much obliged to her for her letter & will write to her very soon. I have nothing to tell you of news from this place therefore I will release you from this stupid Scrawl."
