Summary
Saying she had hoped to be writing from Tilney Street but she is still not well enough to travel; saying "I cannot tell you how annoy'd I am being so unwell as not to be able to enjoy the Society here besides being a great Burthen to the Inhabitants of this House who do all in their power to persuade me I am not - But my own feelings on this subject bore me exceedingly - I am much too great a sufferer from bad health ever to think of moving out of my own house - I have written to Cou to put off entirely my visit to her - nothing could be more disagreeable to me than to go merely for one night to her house not being fit for any thing - I had so completely made up my mind to visit you at Came & enjoy'd so much the thoughts of seeing you, dear George & your dear chicks that the disappointment has been a cruel one - I hope I shall get well enough soon to go to my Winter Quarters;" asking her to please let her know what arrangements she should make for their visit to Brighton; adding "The House is full of Company - Lady Craven & half a dozen men but for some days past I have seen none of them - however if I feel up to it I have promis'd to go to them this Ev'g."
