Summary
Saying she is happy to know that Minney and George are both safely at their destinations given the stormy weather; relating details of her journey back to London and her hope to visit Lou and Cou the following week; thanking her for the invitation to visit them but saying "...I dont think I can as I am very anxious to set myself down quietly for the Winter...I regret most sincerely my House is not big enough to hold you all - Where or in what situation shall I take one for some part of your family - all that can be made tolerably comfortable I shall rejoice to receive - pray speak honestly & tell me your wishes and what you would wish me to do; discussing problems Minney is having with her footman and concluding with the names of the "Levé of Beaux" who called on her that morning.
