Summary
Saying she is happy to know that she is safely arrived and that George is safely in Ireland; thanking her for her concern about her health and saying she is much better but has not been able to leave the house due to the bad weather; saying she is looking forward to a "...fine day to make an excursion to Liverpool [with Mary] as I am very anxious to see the rail road & to go shopping - notwithstanding the torrents of rain our Gentlemen have been out hunting this morn'g;" adding that she will be staying longer at Hooton but also hoping they will all meet in Brighton in November; adding a postscript but a large portion of it has been torn away.
