Summary
Saying she is sorry to hear she is unwell "...tho' I am not surpris'd at yr. suffering as you have done by the extreme heat of the weather - it has quite upset me and has prevented my deriving as much benefit as I expected from the waters here, tho I am wonderfully better than when I left Paris;" criticizing her for not having written saying "...had it not been for the kind consideration of George who wrote twice to me I should & did suppose you had quite forgot I was in existence, it has I confess annoy'd me very much & now it is explained I shall say no more about it & hope our correspondence may be more frequent than it has been. You & George are both very kind in offering to join me any where - all I can say is that I must remain here about a fortnight longer for altho' the place is odious still if I can gain my Health I shall not regret passing the life I do here - my intention afterward is to proceed to England; relating news of family.
