Summary
Reporting that after consulting Mr. Stone about whether or not to bring the Baby [Seymour] with her to join them in France, she will bring him with her; saying Stone "...says if it was his own Child he should certainly have no scruple of taking it abroad but that he did not like taking the whole responsibility upon himself - had it been wean'd he should certainly have been much against his leaving this Country but that being at the Breast makes all the difference possible I shall therefore bring him with me to Aix - he is in perfect health & beauty & I cannot tell you how delighted I shall be to present him to you or the happiness you will experience at seeing the dear little Baby - I assure you I feel very proud of him" asking if there is anything she can bring her, reporting that Mary is doing well saying "...to day is the thirteenth since she was confin'd - she of course feels weak but is in other respects well - much more so then I thought would be the case after such a severe time of it;" relating other news of the family and friends.
