Summary
Reporting news of the birth of a boy to Marianne and a girl to Lady Augusta and the births being within hours of each other; reporting that the Baby [Seymour] is cutting a new tooth and saying she remains uncertain as to whether she should bring the Baby with her to join them on the Continent and will await instructions from Minney; saying "London is quite detestable - the Violence of people makes Society odious & the whole Town is in a State of Confusion - with respect of the Temporalities Ireland Bill it is hoped there will be no division in the Lands - the Ministers have said they will go out if this is to be & the Opposition are far from rushing to take their places but [illegible] & they by the extraordinary conduct they are pursuing turn themselves out - but as Government have been so often in the Minority lately they take it very quietly perfectly satisfied to receive the Emoluments of their places - poor Lord Dover is dead & Lord Plymouth also - he went to Greenwich to embark in his Yacht to go to Scotland & died of apoplexy the very morning they were to set out - she poor thing was with her husband & miserable & shock'd at the event."
