Beginning with a letter from Georgina Damer (age 6), in her hand, to her mother saying "My dear Mama / I am very sorry you do not come before Saturday we [were] very glad to see Grandmama & she gave us each a book & a box of bricks we are all quite well again Seymour has six teeth Blanche sends her love to you / I remain / your aff / Georgina Damer;" Fitzherbert continues, "I am happy to tell you the dear Children are in perfect good health & spirits - they lamented very much your not coming here but said they were sure that none of us had been so much amus'd & gay as they had been;" relating the activities of the children and the family members they have seen..
