Summary
Saying she is glad to know she is at Hampton Palace and relating her plans in Brighton; saying "I scarcely know myself, but for the present I have taken a house opposite the Pavilion Gardens, for altho' I have been very quiet & comfortable at this hotel it is at such a distance - more than a mile - to my stables & house that is it attend'd with great Inconvenience & tomorrow I take my departure to my new Residence, I mean about the end of this month to go to Petworth - I dont think it would be very civil to go there the moment Munster arrives but I shall be very glad to meet him there in a short time - I have sent to town for some of my Servants for your friend Mrs. Saunders will not let me have the House till I agreed to hire it for a month - it is very good natur'd of you to invite poor Sally to Hampton Court. I am sure she will be delighted & I have no use for her at present, God knows when I shall be able to get into my new House - I have such a dread of the smell of paint & I am such a nervous Coward I feel I cannot be better than remaining here some time longer;" relating social news of family and friends.
