Summary
Discussing the naming of Minney's baby with respect to the request by Lady Downshire for him to be named Montague; saying "I cannot tell you how George's appearance surpris'd me on my return home a little after nine o'clock from having dined tete a tete with Lady Downshire - we neither of us could understand your letter with respect to the naming the Baby - Damer has now explained it to me & I shall tell her the name is to be William Montague - she feels very desirous for the latter - It appears to me that you had better get the Christening over & not wait to have it done here for she would not be present at the Ceremony as she never means to go out & could not have it at her own house;" saying she continues to be "...sadly plagued with rheumatism which is my constant companion."
