Referring to Minney's brother's new title saying "I am sure yr Brother George [Seymour] does not like his new title & therefore I shall not congratulate him on the occasion tho' I am sure he could not refuse it from the manner in which it was offer'd to him;" relating social news and news of a maid who left Mary's house and a new butler Mrs. Fitzherbert hired; saying she has not set a time to return to Town "...tho I confess I had much rather remain here than go to Tilney Street;" adding, in two postscripts, that Mary asked her to tell her that "...her Baby has got five Teeth & another coming without any trouble or Inconvenience to the Child who has not suffer'd in the least but in most perfect health. Horace I hear is here & when I return'd home this Morning for dinner I heard he had call'd but I have not seen him."
