Summary
Saying that despite Minney's protestations she will come to London as "...I really cannot stay at Brighton any longer, having nothing but a man & a maid, & not able to ask any body to eat their fish & mutton with me which is rather uncomfortable - I am going to day to dine at the Pavilion & tomorrow with Lady Albro' [Elizabeth Hamilton Stratford, Lady Aldborough] who keeps open House & has very good parties but is sadly mortified at having her Company often taken from her to dine with the Royalties & never once been invited herself which I think is very hard upon her particularly as she has taken a House & furnish'd it with all her fine things from Paris & means to make Brighton her residence - I never saw this place so full in my life - you can scarcely get along the streets for the quantity of carriages - very smart & the owners dress'd out as if going to some fine entertainment but not a face you ever saw before;" asking her to thank George for his letter and asking her to call on her at Tilney Street.
