Summary
Referring to the King's health and the postponement of the drawing room; saying "I am delighted on your account that the drawing room is postponed - in my opinion I dont think there will be any thing of the sort this Season...indeed the Bulletins have been very alarming & for several reasons it has worried me a good deal but I hope He will get well again tho' I am sure he will not be able to hold either Levee or drawing room;" discussing the situation with Daykin and his wife and the "detestable' weather which has kept her inside.
