Summary
Saying how lonely the house is since she left and the possibility that Daykin may be staying in Brighton longer than expected; referring to the King's illness saying "The Bulletin has alarm'd every body here & I amongst the number for it was a very frightful one & the Coaches brought us word the K. was no more - it has made the greatest confusion in this Town but we are all glad to hear He is doing well tho' I do not from the number of letters people have had here feel satisfied about him: saying she is still bothered by her rheumatism and thanking her, in a postscript, for the plover eggs.
