Summary
Saying she is glad they are safely arrived at "...your Chateau" and saying how much she is enjoying being at the York Hotel; saying "I feel quite at Home & like it better than being in my own House as I have no trouble but to ring my bell & get every thing I want in a minute - there are numbers of my acquaintance here so that I dont want for Society;" relating news of friends who are in town and her social engagements with them; adding that she had to leave Daykin in London as "...he put himself into such a state of agitation at the thought of coming here...It is quite shocking the state he is in, It makes me quite unhappy for he will be a most serious loss to me...I hope Dear Mins has settled her House to her mind I fancy I see her changing all the furniture & turning the House topsy turvy."
