Summary
Commenting on Minney's account of the Ball at Doncaster and reporting on the delays in work on Minney's house and saying she was told "...there is not the smallest chance of your being able to get into it before Easter;" saying "I suppose you have heard all the scandal respecting the Duke of Cumberland & Lady Graves, I understand L[ord] G[raves] gave her a week to consider which she prefer'd him or the Duke & had given out that he should take her children from her but by letters today I understand the affair is patch'd up for the present;" adding more social news and discussing arrangements for Minney to be at Tilney Street; discussing, at length, the ill health of Daykin and the likelihood that he will go to London with his wife leaving Mrs. Fitzherbert to find someone new for Brighton; saying "...it is a serious loss for me for a better or more Honest person never existed but he is not able to do any thing scarcely able to come up stairs - If you sh'd hear of any body that would be likely to suit me pray make enquiry;" adding more social news.
