Summary
Concerning the Will of Lady Caroline [Damer] which has "...worried me to death as every moment people are coming to congratulate me on your account, but I shall not be comfortable till I hear from George the particulars & I hope he will give me a line;" assuring her that the letter which she is anxious about is one of kindest and most affectionate she has ever received from her; saying "You are out of Spirits my dear Minny & therefore see every thing en noir. I wish I was with you;" saying "Here I am with all England at Brighton - there never was so many people of fashion here before & my House has been like a fever all day yesterday & to day - but I shall not be satisfied or comfortable my dearest Minney till I get you & George here - it is the only thing I have to look to with pleasure - I fancy'd you would go to Town and therefore I left Baby for a Couple of days till I heard from you, had you come to town & found her gone you w'd have been disappointed but I have now sent for her -nurse & Viney are to be her attendants - I cannot tell you how lonely & dismal this House appears & how much I miss both you & Maryanne - I made this Complaint to the Duchess of Bedford who told me she could supply me with children of all sizes & ages as many as I pleas'd - the poor man I think is looking very ill - The Hollands enquire much after you & so does every body I see - if I was to give you the list it would more than fill my letter."
