Summary
Relating news of friends and family; saying her house is "nearly finished' and she plans to "settle myself here as soon as I can for the Winter - there are some doubts of the K. coming here. I sincerely hope he will not - the Princess Augusta has taken a house at Worthing not chusing to be here whilst the K & his friends are here - I hear the D of Cum[berlan]d is outrageous with his Majesty for quitting the environs of Windsor I fear we shall have him here tho' many people think the K comes here to get rid of him;" relating news of a visit from Lady Jersey and commenting on how devoted she is to her children; relating more news of friends she has seen but saying she has no news of Lady Caroline Stanhope except that she left Brighton with Lady Tavistock; saying how sorry she will be to leave "this delightful Hotel - we are all so thoroughly comfortable."
