Summary
Discussing the visit of Minney's sister [Horatia] and the poor health and depressed spirits of Horatia's husband, [John] Morier; discussing, at length, the sale of Lord Liverpool's house and the state of disrepair of the house; reporting that she is "...still a cripple but I hope in a short time I shall be able to walk about as usual. Mrs. Wat is getting better she's still a poor weak person & I hope with care & attention she may soon be well again;" relating more social news and adding that she is "sick of Politicks;" continuing the letter with a date of Monday night March 3'd to say that Minney's sister left Brighton that morning and saying "They have only been here three days & Morier is so much worse - instead of benefiting by the change of air that she thought it better to go Home & endeavour to make some of his Friends to persuade him to have some medical advice;" asking her about whether to continue Lord Downshire's Subscription.
