Summary
Asking her help "...to put my house to rights for you have no idea what a state of confusion every thing is in. the only place spar'd that we occupy is the little Breakfast parlour below stairs there we dine & live the whole day which is rather Inconvenient as there are so many people here of my acquaintance who's Society I should very much like but Situated as I am my house is not fit to receive any body - I mean to take my departure for town Thursday or Friday next any day after Sunday I am at your orders . I long to see you all again for I think it quite an age since we met - but I should be quite miserable my dear Mins, if my going to you for a couple of days should in any way interfere with your engagements therefore pray honestly tell me when it will be quite convenient to you & Mr. George to receive me. I have nothing to do & therefore for the next fortnight I can go to you at any time when you like to have me - This place is quite full & numbers of yours us well as my acquaintance but the weather is so detestable that we are all confin'd to our houses;" relating news of social engagements; adding "you will see by my Frank who is here now I am sorry for it - as it makes a lather for she has not a Creature with her but her children."
