Summary
Wishing her a happy birthday and explaining that she had very much wanted to be in London with her on her birthday but she has had visitors and her back spasms have returned; adding "I am very glad to hear you have more reconcil'd to yr House. I was quite surpris'd at yr going into it so soon for I expected to find you in my old habitation at my return then I fear you seem not so comfortable as I could wish & that that made you eager to get into your new abode - I daresay you have very much embellish'd it I delight in the thoughts of having you so near me. I am very much delighted at the good accounts I have of the Duke [of York] his letter to me yesterday is written in such good Spirits about himself that it gives me much pleasure I hope to god he will not have a relapse."
