Summary
Discussing her search for a house for them; saying "Dawson has I daresay given you the whole history of our search after houses I am still very partial to the sort of House we saw in Charles Street but the filth & dirt of it was beyond description & w'd have cost some hundreds to have been able to have liv'd in it The one he has [illegible] upon is very clean and comfortable the greatest recommendation in my eyes is its being so near to me & I daresay when you see it you will like it very much The colour of the Entrance is disagreeable & I fear you will not be able to alter it in other respects it is very convenient & most completely furnish'd with every thing tho' the furniture is not very modern but I am sure you will make it very pretty there is a little Boudoir that I think you will like very much - I am very anxious for you to see it & hear your opinion, whenever you are dispos'd to go to Town and a line to Mrs. Viney that every thing may be got ready for your reception & pray stay as long as you like & not think of going to your own House till the smell of Paint is entirely gone - We have got a very comfortable habitation here & a beautiful View of the Country, I have been prevented taking the Baths by having caught a cold that plagues me sadly - The waters I take twice a day I have not taken them long enough to judge what effect they will have;" relating news of people she has seen in Bath; expressing her gratitude to Mr. Dawson on his recent visit to Tilney Street.
