Miss Seymour married George Dawson-Damer on August 20, 1825.
This letter is dated three times. It was started on November 23, 1825 and is dated a second time, on page 2, November 30. The published letter cited below gives the date as November 30 and a 2nd postscript is added dated December 1st.

Summary
Wishing her a happy birthday and expressing her wish that on her next birthday they will be together; relating news of friends and of Minney's brothers, Frederick and Horace; continuing the letter on November 30; saying "The Duchess of Rutland died on Tuesday of an Inflammation in her Bowels she was not ill more than two days Halford was sent for express to Belvoir but arriv'd too late. My poor friend the Duke [of York] is very much shock'd I have seen a great deal of him since I came to Town & he call'd upon me the day after the event had taken place & was very much affected at it, he has such a kind Heart & they were such dear friends that I like him the better for the feeling he shews on the occasion;" relating more news of friends; adding, in a postscript, that she has not yet set a date for Brighton and again, in a second postscript, announcing the birth of a baby.
