Summary
Concerning Knight's series on philosophers; saying he had written to Mr. Müller and explained that he could not contribute to his proposed series due to his commitment to Knight and Blackwood's; saying that he asked Müller to delay his proposed series "...until the issue of your experiment is seen, two or three years hence - after which there might be room to consider whether a division of philosophical labour, in more than one direction, might be possible. I hope he may thus, for the present, leave the field clear to those whose courage & enterprise first opened it;" adding that he hopes to get the essay on Berkeley to him in June."
