Summary
Saying that Rosenberg's letters are always stimulating because they're so lively. He sends all his best wishes for Rosenberg's new initiative. Matisse is busy painting and drawing. He left the bad weather in Paris for the warm weather in Nice. He's going to stay there until the weather gets bad and will then go to Bordeaux or Arcachon. He's in good health and he has lots of energy for working. He walks down to the Place Massena every evening after dinner and is sleeping well. He eats a light dinner (bread with butter and jam and some fruit) and suggests that Rosenberg do the same. He says that Rosenberg isn't taking good care of himself. He's waiting for the contract. (in postscript) He's had no news from Madame Matisse. He knows she's getting ready to go somewhere but does not know where or why.
