Summary
He is in Rochefort en Yvelines, between Paris and Chartres, for as long as the weather allows. He hopes to go down south soon. He has just bought a little Fiat and will drive first to Tours. He asks if Rosenberg thinks he can find 2 rooms there for a day or two. He's working every day but fears the cold. He says it's not the time to be sick right now. He hopes that Rosenberg and his family are in good health and wishes them courage in their terrible ordeal. (in postscript) He says he left Paris after putting everything in a safe place, as Rosenberg advised and thanks him for his advice.
