Summary
Thanking him for his letter. He's been working this summer surrounded by spirals of black blood in a terrible wind. His compass is in distress before the chair of dispositions [or disappearances/deaths]. He hopes to see Rosenberg in mid-October in the "new Boetie," with the night lamps of the sun.
