Summary
Her lawyer, Monsieur Nourry, advises her to adopt Suzanne "for the future" [in other words, for when she dies]. She asks if he or Marguerite can write a letter certifying that Suzanne has lived with her for 28 years and has never wanted a salary. This must remain secret. The biggest problem is Suzanne's modesty. She'll ask another lawyer, Maurice Garçon, to handle this affair. P.P. [Pablo Picasso] has left for America. She doesn't think the Picassos have enough money [for this trip], in view of their stingy lifestyle. Madame Picasso stayed in France. Laurencin is being paid as she should be. Amante bought a pretty watercolor [from Madame Picasso].
