Summary
Saying that she's finally sending him sketches of the invitation [probably to an exhibition of her paintings]. She's going to do the catalogue. She reopened her letter. She has received word from Roché that some of Rosenberg's clients have found some of her paintings not to be worked on enough. She admits that the one for Bénard doesn't have a lot of painting, but if she has to paint merely so that clients will buy her paintings from Rosenberg, she refuses. She says that her first paintings were much less painted, with parts of the canvas left unpainted. She doesn't want to force him to buy her paintings, but she also doesn't want to feel obliged to paint in any other way except the way she chooses. "Too bad for her," she says.
