Summary
Concerning copies of a limited edition of poems; saying "I am sorry to say that the copies of the limited edition of the poems you like have all been distributed. It isn't really an edition, for that matter. They were printed by a poet in America who must have come across the verses in the Virginia Quarterly. When he sees a poem he likes he prints off a few copies in this way and sends them to the author. I think the Man Ray photographs a brilliant piece of work and certainly better likenesses than any I have ever had taken. Like all photographs their reception among my friends has been mixed. I should very much like to see you soon but am pretty busy for the next ten days. What about Tuesday the 9th for lunch?" .
