The date of writing from the published letter cited below which suggests it was written "? late November 1928."
Eliot refers to "For Lancelot Andrewes" a collection of essays published by Faber & Gwyer in 1929.

Summary
Saying he's sorry to hear Kauffer is "laid up, & disappointed not to see you today. Will you drop me a line as soon as you are about & we will arrange a lunch next week. Thank you for your kind remarks about Andrewes. You seem to be the first person to look inside the book! Certainly I will send you a copy of the poems, but I have not done anything to improve them yet;" adding, in a postscript, "My wife has not been very well the last few days either."
