Summary
She talks about two dogs that have died, and Armand's dog must be put down, too. Painful emotions, but not for people who have worries about money or their health. Armand is better. He's going to the south of France for 2 weeks. He doesn't like to rest, but he promised Dr. de Gennes and his sisters that he would. Laurencin is emotionally tired. She gets up early and comes and goes as best she can. As long as she can walk and go down the stairs into the street, she feels alive. She feels that there's a lid crushing down on her head. She has an intuition that she'll see Rosenberg soon.
