Telling her they are "...rehearsing away at the Town Hall - I've stolen out to write this at a neighbouring inn - Miss Young came down with us and a Mr. Spencer Ponsonby...We've rehearsed C & B - The theatre is nice but small - DeB seems a great brick, & just aint he handsome - I hope dear Sylvia is getting on, & that Guy is not getting worse. I look forward to a letter from you tomorrow morning at Wood End - saying all goes well."
