Summary
Telling her he is "...at T. Agnews - utterly impossible to get away tonight; besides I am too tired to travel - got your note allright ducky - We all leave by the 12 o'clock train tomorrow - shan't I be glad to get home!! home at 5 or so - near six - such lots to tell you - Kiss kids;" adding, in a postscript, "The performance was allright - the fullest house ever seen - 950 pounds in the house - we [illegible] back 1000."
