Provenance
The letters formed part of the Burdett-Coutts sale (Sotheby, 17 May 1922); they were purchased for Oliver W. Barrett in whose collection they remained until it was sold by his son (Parke-Bernet, 31 October 1951).
Summary
Arranging to meet her during his brief trip to London: "I have a world of things to do, but of course the foremost among them all is to have a few minutes' glimpse of you;" saying that they can then discuss Mr. Wills; telling her to write him at the Household Words office, "as I shall be constantly there;" sending love to Hannah Brown.
