Informing him that he will be traveling South over the weekend to deliver a lecture in Dover, Delaware, and that he will therefore not be able to meet with him unless he can arrange a meeting for Monday; expressing his pleasure at hearing of Gormley's professional training and career prospects, asking that he give Dreiser his address when he is "placed in Washington", and noting that he will be back in early May.
