Summary
Reporting on a house he and Mr. Chesterton looked at on her behalf; saying "My object was (and is) to consult you about a house Mr. Chesterton and I had seen, which is not dear, and we think would suit your project better than almost any other, not built for the purpose. I prevented the owner from advertizing it, as he had intended to do; and he has been to me since but I could say nothing to him. I have been so very unwell from an accident, that I have not been able to write, and we are going to Brighton tomorrow (148 King's Road) for change. If you will let me hear from you there, I will send you full particulars of this house. Or maybe you are at Brighton, and I can see you there?"
