Summary
Informing him that she has returned to Baden[-Baden] because a friend from Paris was supposed to visit her there, but at the last moment he had passport problems with the German embassy. She is also impatiently waiting for Madame Groult so that the two of them can take off somewhere. She asks if Rosenberg will be in Paris during the first weeks of September. If he won't be there, she'll change her plans. She, too, is having passport problems. Paul Morand has written [on her behalf] to the nearest consulate. The problem is with the German authorities, not the French. She has a painting for Rosenberg and is beginning another one.
