Summary
Sending her a proof of his "Home for Homeless Women" article and asking that she look it over before tomorrow, when he will come to consult her about several matters; explaining the use of the typographic symbol indicating that text should be deleted and including the symbol: "I mention this, because you will see the mystic sign dancing all down the side of Caroline Canlon's letter, which the printers have taken it into their wise heads to punctuate elaborately -- thereby destroying its simplicity."
