Summary
Expressing her regret at being away from home when Mrs. Lascelles called on her, and explaining that she has been staying with Lady Lyttelton "at the Chantry near Ross", and remarking that she is "quite fascinated with the beauty and quaintness of Herefordshire. How much there is to see and admire in ones own country."; explaining that she has come to open a "Missionary Loan Exhibition on a gigantic scale", and that she will proceed to Tottenhall in Cheshire, her "father's first parish" to "open a Parish Institute and give a 'lantern talk on Korea", after which she will return to give four talks at the exhibition, and that she will not return home until the 28th, "when I fear you will have left town."; mentioning that she had a visit from "Miss Hardwicke in my photography room of necessity", and sending her regards to Mr. Lascelles.
